The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts slightly hot to hot daytime weather across Egypt's northern regions, including Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, with southern Upper Egypt experiencing hotter conditions. A temporary temperature increase of up to 5C is expected on Monday, November 2, pushing Greater Cairo's daytime temperature to 32C. However, this heatwave will be short-lived, with a significant temperature drop anticipated by the week's end. The EMA advises caution, reminding the public that cool breezes persist during early mornings and late nights, with overall temperatures decreasing across all areas. Nighttime and early morning hours will remain cooler.
Light rain, occasionally moderate, is predicted for areas along the northern coast, northern Lower Egypt, and parts of the Matrouh desert, with a 30-percent probability. A minimal 10-percent chance of light rain exists in parts of southern Lower Egypt and the Suez Canal cities, with potential intermittent showers reaching Greater Cairo.
