The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has announced that a slight increase in temperatures is expected across most of Egypt on Tuesday. Daytime conditions will be hot in many regions, intensifying to very hot in southern Upper Egypt. Conversely, nights and early mornings are predicted to be cool to cold.
Maximum forecast temperatures include 30°C for Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, 28°C along the northern coasts, 33°C in northern Upper Egypt, and 37°C in southern Upper Egypt. Weather maps suggest the possibility of low-level cloud formation over northern areas, extending to Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities, which could bring light, insignificant drizzle to some locations. A very minor chance of intermittent light rain is also anticipated in parts of the Matrouh desert.
Occasional wind activity has been detected by satellite imagery, with speeds ranging from 30-35 km/h. These winds are expected to affect Greater Cairo, South Sinai, and southern Upper Egypt at intervals.
