The 262nd convoy of the “Zad Al-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza” humanitarian aid campaign successfully entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Passing through the Rafah land crossing, the trucks proceeded toward the Karm Abu Salem crossing in southern Gaza following a temporary two-day weekend halt on Friday and Saturday.

Carrying a wide array of vital relief supplies, the convoy includes meat, food baskets, flour, medical products, relief materials, petroleum, and fuel. Before gaining entry into the Gaza Strip, all trucks undergo thorough inspections by Israeli authorities at the Karm Abu Salem crossing.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues its steadfast presence along the border, remaining on standby across logistical centers to facilitate the seamless flow of aid. To date, more than 75,000 volunteers have dedicated their time to support the organization's ongoing humanitarian mission.
