The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a slight temperature increase of one to two degrees Celsius across most of Egypt on Monday, accompanied by persistent hot and humid conditions during the day.
Evening humidity levels are anticipated to reach 80 to 85 percent in Greater Cairo and the Lower Egypt region, and between 90 and 95 percent along the northern coast. Meanwhile, humidity is expected to drop to approximately 60 to 66 percent in Upper Egypt and 30 to 35 percent in southern Upper Egypt.
Summer conditions are set to intensify in the coming days as high temperatures and elevated humidity combine to amplify the perceived heat. Maximum temperatures are projected to reach approximately 36C in Greater Cairo, 31C on the northwestern coast, 35C on the northeastern coast, and 35C in the Lower Egypt region.
Further south, temperatures will climb to 38C in northern Upper Egypt and 41C in southern Upper Egypt. Conditions will remain slightly hot and humid at night and during early morning hours across most areas, turning very hot and humid during the day in most regions, while staying hot and humid along the northern coast.
