Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Farid Saleh recently held discussions with Singaporean Ambassador to Egypt Dominic Goh to explore strategies for strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties. The talks focused on boosting mutual investments and encouraging Singaporean companies to expand their commercial footprint within Egypt.

Both officials addressed the promotion of Egypt as a key production and export hub, leveraging its strategic location and existing trade agreements with Arab, African, and European markets. Additionally, the discussions covered ways to improve the trade balance by increasing Egyptian exports to Singapore, exploring sustainability cooperation, and organizing a dedicated promotional mission to showcase priority investment sectors.
