Egypt has introduced a standardized fee of US$15, or its equivalent in foreign currency, for all entry and transit visas, according to a recent decree issued by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and published in the Official Gazette.
The new regulation, which will take effect on January 1, 2027, also applies to various consular services provided by Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad. The decision aims to unify fees across ports of entry and diplomatic missions, replacing previous regulations that varied based on the specific type of service.
