Qatar has issued a strong condemnation regarding renewed Iranian attacks directed at Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, characterizing the assaults as a blatant violation of national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Doha warned that these continuous military actions represent a dangerous escalation that undermines regional security and diplomatic stability. Qatar explicitly holds the Islamic Republic of Iran legally responsible for the attacks and their subsequent consequences.

The regional escalation followed a wave of Iranian missile and drone strikes late Tuesday targeting military sites in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait. These strikes were launched in retaliation for earlier U.S. military operations against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps facilities, which Washington stated included air-defence sites, radar systems, and communications infrastructure.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for targeting the U.S. Marine facility at Camp Titin and the Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan with ballistic missiles. Meanwhile, regional defense forces responded actively, with the Jordan Armed Forces intercepting 10 out of 13 incoming ballistic missiles, while Bahrain and Kuwait also engaged hostile airborne threats through their respective air defence systems.

Emphasizing the urgency of de-escalation, Qatar called for an immediate halt to all military actions, urging all involved parties to return to serious diplomatic negotiations and uphold existing regional understandings.
