The UAE Cabinet has approved a comprehensive set of measures designed to integrate artificial intelligence deeply into both government operations and the national education sector. During a meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, officials launched the Agentic AI project aimed at delivering a major transformation in public services.

Highlighting the UAE's continuous momentum, Sheikh Mohammed stated that the nation's economy is growing, markets are operating at full capacity, and projects are moving forward without waiting for perfect conditions. He emphasized that the Agentic AI initiative is a strategic national effort intended to reshape government work.

A primary highlight of the Cabinet meeting was the approval of a new AI curriculum for all public and private schools across the UAE. The educational program is designed to equip students with technical AI requirements, ethical awareness, and an understanding of data, algorithms, applications, and associated risks. Furthermore, the plan aims to train 22,000 teachers and educators to utilize AI as a support tool for teaching, assessment, lesson planning, and fostering innovation.

To bolster decision-making, Sheikh Mohammed introduced the Cabinet AI Advisor system, which features 32 specialized AI assistants. This system continuously analyzes policies, legislation, and strategies against national priorities to provide recommendations to ministers. Additionally, the Cabinet approved a resolution regulating autonomous vehicles to encourage eco-friendly technologies, reduce traffic congestion, and lower road pollution.

Reviewing the country's broader digital transformation, the Cabinet noted that government entities completed over 308 million digital transactions and registered high customer satisfaction rates. The meeting also addressed preparations for the upcoming UAE Government Annual Meetings, alongside the approval of the National Ecotourism Policy to further protect ecosystems and natural resources.
