Egypt and China have released a comprehensive joint statement reaffirming their mutual commitment to Middle East stability, advocating for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and demanding unrestricted access for humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.

In their joint declaration, both governments stressed the urgent necessity of locking in a lasting truce in Gaza and called for the immediate lifting of barriers obstructing relief efforts. Additionally, Cairo and Beijing proposed the rapid reinstatement of the Palestinian Authority to administer the Gaza Strip as an essential measure for reestablishing administrative cohesion and political order.

Voicing profound anxiety over mounting regional instability, the two nations denounced the dangerous military escalation by Israeli forces throughout the West Bank and East Jerusalem. They also expressed grave concern regarding the surge in settler violence, institutionalized land seizures, and the growth of settlements, cautioning that these measures actively sabotage peace efforts. Both Egypt and China emphasized the critical necessity of protecting Palestine’s territorial integrity.

Broadening their diplomatic focus to North Africa, the two countries demanded absolute reverence for Sudan’s sovereignty, geographical unity, and state institutions, while firmly denouncing any foreign intervention in Sudanese domestic affairs.
