Qatar’s Ministry of Justice has officially launched a specialised legal qualification programme aimed at Qatari legal professionals working across various government and semi-government entities. Organised by the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies (CLJS), the comprehensive training initiative is scheduled to run from September 20 to November 12, 2026.

The programme features three distinct specialised tracks: Drafting Legislative Instruments, Following Up on Litigation, and Disciplinary Investigation. To be eligible for participation, candidates must be Qatari nationals with three to eight years of professional experience in a legal position, and they must be nominated for a track that aligns directly with their current job responsibilities.

Nominations are currently open and will run until the August 27 deadline. Interested employers must submit an official letter to the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies containing the candidate's full name, job title, department, section, and the specific training track selected. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order in which nominations are received until all available slots are filled. Once approved, the chosen training track cannot be altered.
