The National Council for Women (NCW) has officially rolled out a brand-new phase of its agricultural waste recycling initiative focused on generating organic fertilizer, known as compost, within Giza Governorate.
Designed to champion the economic empowerment of rural women, the project successfully transforms agricultural waste into high-value products, significantly boosting their active involvement in the green economy.
Project experts highlighted that this compost production effort plays a crucial role in enhancing soil quality and agricultural yield. Additionally, it curtails the dependence on chemical fertilizers while actively mitigating the adverse environmental consequences typically caused by the unsafe disposal of agricultural waste.
