Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed al-Shenawy noted that the President closely evaluated the ongoing progress dedicated to restoring Islamic and historical landmarks throughout the capital.
During the briefing, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber outlined the ongoing work to restore numerous Khedival, historical, and Islamic landmarks, alongside continuous infrastructure upgrades in and around these zones. Meanwhile, Minister of Religious Endowments Osama al-Azhari detailed the advancement of restoration projects across various historical mosques and shrines, highlighting plans for integrated tourist pathways that link multiple heritage destinations.
