Giza security forces have uncovered the details surrounding controversial videos circulated online that depicted a microbus in the Giza Governorate featuring offensive banners, prominently displaying the phrase “Long Live Israel”.
Authorities successfully traced the vehicle and took the driver, a resident of al-Warraq district, into custody. Under questioning by investigators, the suspect admitted to carrying out the stunt on September 4 while operating in the Imbaba district.
According to the driver, he utilized flashlights equipped with LED screens and managed through a mobile phone application to project the messages. He stated that the display was intended merely as a prank directed at fellow drivers within the parking lot.
Following the incident, the vehicle was impounded by authorities, an official report was filed, and the suspect was subsequently handed over to the Public Prosecution to undergo further investigation.
