The Tempe 57: A Father's Relentless Search for Justice Following Greece's Deadliest Train Disaster

Every night at 11:18pm, marking the exact moment of the tragic 2023 Tempe train crash, loved ones of the victims assemble outside the Greek Parliament to recite the names of the 57 passengers who lost their lives. Panos stands side by side with them, grieving his 23-year-old son, Dennis. Three years have passed, yet authorities still fail to provide a full account of the events.

Amidst escalating allegations regarding safety failures and missing evidence, the frustration among the families continues to grow. As the much-anticipated trial regarding the crash draws near, Panos has stepped forward as a prominent voice in the protest movement, steadfastly demanding accountability for the catastrophic disaster. The Tempe 57 is a documentary film created by Anna Prokou and Nina Maria Pashalidou.
