Qatar Strongly Condemns New Iranian Missile Attacks Targeting Jordan Amid Rising Regional Tensions

Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of renewed Iranian attacks directed at Jordan, labeling the strikes as a blatant violation of national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.

In an official statement released on Wednesday, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the ongoing military actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability and undermines diplomatic solutions.

Doha has held Iran legally responsible for the strikes and expressed total solidarity with Amman, backing all measures taken by Jordan to protect its security. The statement follows an incident where the Jordanian Armed Forces intercepted multiple ballistic missiles, with air defenses destroying 18 out of 20 incoming projectiles.

The latest regional flare-up coincides with wider confrontations involving the U.S. and Iran, which have included naval engagements and maritime attacks in the area.
