Inside a Family's Dh150,000 Four-Bedroom Villa in Dubai's Town Square

A rising rent and a growing family led Ryan Baird to move from The Springs to a more spacious and affordable four-bedroom home in Town Square, Dubai. Mr Baird, who works in the food and beverage division for The First Group in Dubai, shares the property with his wife Caroline and their two young children under three, Skylah Luna and Blaze Maverick.

Located in Hayat Villas, the townhouse features four bedrooms, a maid's room, a private garden, and two parking spaces. Despite being a developing area, the community offers extensive amenities, including padel courts, children's playgrounds, tennis courts, and several swimming pools.

Mr Baird noted that the move provided much better value for money compared to their previous residence in The Springs. Although traffic and road challenges initially existed, road expansions have improved the commute, allowing a 24-minute drive to his office in Barsha Heights. Safety, family-friendly surroundings, and walkable access to nurseries, schools, supermarkets, and restaurants heavily influenced their choice of location.

The family currently pays an annual rent of Dh150,000 and frequently utilizes community features like the gym, pool, and padel courts. Inside the home, dedicated spaces and a playroom have been created for the children, ensuring a comfortable environment for both family life and entertaining guests. Looking ahead, Mr Baird and his family plan to eventually purchase property in Dubai, with Town Square remaining a strong consideration.
