Labor Minister Hassan Raddad met on Monday, September 14, 2026, with Nour al-Ammarti, head of the Moroccan delegation attending the 52nd Arab Labor Conference, to discuss strategies for enhancing collaboration and sharing expertise in labor matters.
Taking place in Cairo on the sidelines of the conference, the discussion highlighted the enduring relationship between Egypt and Morocco, emphasizing a mutual dedication to furthering labor cooperation to benefit both nations and bolster joint Arab initiatives.
The talks focused on several key areas, including social protection, the formalization of social dialogue, employment opportunities, skills development, and vocational training, with an emphasis on leveraging successful practices from both countries.
El Ammarti, who functions as the acting secretary-general of Morocco’s Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, lauded the robust bilateral ties and emphasized the necessity of broadening cooperation in labor, social protection, and social dialogue. She further acknowledged Egypt's pivotal contributions to joint Arab labor efforts, asserting that cross-border exchange of expertise is vital for tackling labor-market hurdles and promoting sustainable development.
