Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif met with French Ambassador to Egypt Eric Chevallier on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, to explore expanding bilateral cooperation in technical education and leveraging French expertise to upgrade academic programs and better prepare students for modern workforce demands.
During the discussions, Mohamed Abdel Latif emphasized that the ministry is actively working to enhance technical education and Applied Technology Schools by aligning training initiatives directly with the requirements of employers both within Egypt and internationally. The minister highlighted Egypt's ambition to partner with France to shape technical curricula around French standards, providing students with pathways to internationally accredited qualifications and certificates that enhance career opportunities across local, regional, and global markets.
