Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif recently met with Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Iwai Fumio to discuss strategies for advancing bilateral cooperation within the education sector.

During their Tuesday meeting, the officials explored ways to expand joint initiatives, emphasizing the proven success of the Egyptian-Japanese schools. Abdel Latif outlined the ministry's ongoing strategy to incorporate Japanese educational methodologies, particularly the Tokkatsu activities designed to build students' teamwork, social skills, and personal responsibility.

Describing Japan as a vital partner, the minister noted that the nation's integrated approach aligns closely with Egypt's educational priorities and long-term development goals. Both parties evaluated new opportunities to bolster teacher training programs, share best educational practices, and introduce innovative student activities geared toward modern labor market demands.

Ambassador Fumio reiterated Japan's dedication to supporting Egypt's educational advancement and sustaining their collaborative partnership. Several senior officials from the ministry and the Japanese embassy in Cairo were also present at the gathering.
