Afghanistan’s Defence Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid has engaged in critical separate meetings with senior Qatari and Turkish security officials to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, advancing security cooperation, and ensuring regional stability.
According to an official statement released by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defence on Wednesday, Afghanistan’s Defence Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid met with Hamad bin Khamis Al-Kaabi, who serves as the Deputy of Qatar’s National Security Council. During this discussion, which included a visiting Qatari delegation, Afghanistan’s Defence Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid and Hamad bin Khamis Al-Kaabi explored various avenues to deepen ties and cooperation between Afghanistan and Qatar, with both parties explicitly reaffirming their mutual dedication to expanding bilateral relations.
