Abu Dhabi has ordered the temporary closure of Ahal Alraya Butchery following repeated food safety violations and a failure to implement effective corrective measures.
According to a food control report, the intervention was deemed necessary to protect consumer health and public safety after the establishment failed to adequately address prior infractions. The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority stated that the violations posed a direct risk to the public.
The closure will remain enforced until the business successfully corrects the violations, fulfills all operational requirements, and secures official approval to resume trading. This action is part of ongoing inspection campaigns conducted by the authority to monitor cafes, restaurants, and retail outlets across Abu Dhabi.
Authorities have urged residents to report any suspected food safety violations by calling the Abu Dhabi Government's toll-free number at 800555.
