Iran has put forward a seven-day roadmap aimed at ending the ongoing conflict, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announcing to reporters that Tehran is prepared to start executing the plan immediately once the US grants its approval.
In response, US State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott informed Al Jazeera that the path to diplomacy has remained accessible since the outset, stating that it has not been the United States obstructing those efforts.
