Cabinet Spokesperson Mohamed Adel stated that Egypt’s call for the peaceful settlement of conflicts and disputes is gaining international recognition, emphasizing that this approach is vital for achieving regional peace and stability.
During a phone interview with Al Hayah TV’s “Al Hayah Al Youm” program, Mohamed Adel noted that Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly’s address to the UN General Assembly, delivered on behalf of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, delivered critical messages regarding the reform of the multilateral international system, fair representation in global decision-making, the equal application of international law, and equitable development opportunities.
He pointed out that the Palestinian issue stands as the most prominent example of deficiencies in applying justice and international rules, while also underscoring the urgent need to correct the imbalance in Africa’s representation and strengthen the role of international financial institutions in supporting developing and least-developed nations.
Furthermore, Mohamed Adel emphasized Egypt’s active engagement in high-level international events, pointing out that the country consistently receives invitations to participate in such gatherings.
