Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, is scheduled to make a fraternal visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. According to the state news agency Wam, the trip follows an invitation extended by Prince Khaled bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defence.
Bilateral ties have been frequently highlighted by officials from both nations. In July, Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Hamed, chairman of the National Media Authority, and Saudi Arabia's Minister of Media, Salman Al Dosary, took to X to emphasize the strong connections between their countries. Mr Al Hamed posted that the relationship is built on a shared history and deep fraternal ties.
Diplomatic engagement has continued through various channels. In August, President Sheikh Mohamed sent a letter to Saudi Arabia's King Salman, delivered by UAE ambassador Matar Salem Al Dhaheri to Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Al Khereiji in Riyadh, inviting the King to the UN Water Conference 2026 in Abu Dhabi.
Additionally, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman offered condolences via phone to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, following the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid. Sheikh Mohammed expressed his gratitude for the support.
