Egypt Faces Rising Temperatures and Light Rain Forecast for Tuesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts that Tuesday’s weather will be slightly hot during the day along the northern coasts, hot in Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, and intensely hot in southern Upper Egypt. Mild, autumn-like conditions will prevail during the morning hours and at night across most regions.

Temperatures are expected to reach 27C on the northwestern coasts, 29C on the northeastern coasts, 30C in Lower Egypt, 31C in Greater Cairo, 34C in northern Upper Egypt, and 40C in southern Upper Egypt.

Weather forecasts also indicate a likelihood of light rain, occasionally moderate, across different areas of the North Coast governorates, Lower Egypt, and parts of the Western Desert. This activity may extend weakly to Greater Cairo, central Sinai, and the far south of Upper Egypt.

Additionally, the EMA forecasts windy conditions across most areas—particularly at night—with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h. This is expected to help moderate the weather and make nighttime temperatures feel cooler.

The authority emphasized the importance of following its updates regarding expected weather conditions and taking the necessary precautions to handle any changes in the weather.
