The 286th humanitarian aid truck convoy, titled “Zad Al-Ezza… From Egypt to Gaza,” began entering the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The shipment moved through the Rafah terminal toward the Karam Abu Salem crossing to prepare for delivery into the strip.
The convoy consists of trucks carrying large quantities of essential supplies, including food items and baskets, flour, fresh bread, legumes, canned foods, medicines, personal care supplies, tents, clothing, and petroleum products. Before entering the strip, the trucks undergo inspection by the occupation authorities.
According to the Egyptian Red Crescent, the convoy transported tons of diverse humanitarian assistance. The organization has maintained an active presence at the border since the crisis began, noting that the Rafah crossing has never been closed on the Egyptian side. Backed by more than 75,000 volunteers, the Egyptian Red Crescent remains on standby at all logistical centers to continue its efforts in delivering humanitarian and relief aid.
