Egypt Faces Scorching Temperatures and Unsettled Rain Forecast for Saturday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has released its weather forecast for Saturday, predicting slightly hot conditions during the day along the northern coasts, hotter weather in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, and very hot temperatures in southern Upper Egypt. Meanwhile, evening temperatures are expected to remain moderate across the majority of the regions.

According to weather maps for Saturday, there is a distinct possibility of light to moderate rainfall in specific areas, accompanied by intermittent wind activity, particularly in open zones. In response to these conditions, the authority has strongly advised motorists to exercise caution while driving, maintain safe distances between vehicles, adhere to posted speed limits, and keep their headlights on.

Projected high temperatures vary significantly across the country, peaking at 37°C in several cities located in southern Upper Egypt, while Greater Cairo is expected to reach a high of 31°C before dropping to a nighttime low of 21°C. Intermittent light to moderate rain could impact parts of the North Coast, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Western Desert.

Concluding its advisory, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) urged the public to closely monitor its official updates regarding changing weather conditions and to take all necessary precautions to stay safe.
