UAE Air Defence Successfully Responds to Ballistic Missile Threat Launched from Iran

UAE air defence systems swiftly responded to an incoming missile threat directed at the country on Tuesday evening. Residents in Dubai and Sharjah received initial emergency phone alerts warning of potential missile threats, which were quickly followed by a second message declaring the situation safe while advising the public to exercise caution.

A formal statement issued by the Ministry of Defence on X confirmed that two ballistic missiles were launched from Iran towards the UAE. According to the ministry, the first missile landed outside territorial waters, while the second fell within them.

The ministry emphasized that it remains on high alert and fully prepared to neutralize any threats designed to undermine state security. Authorities strongly advised the public to rely exclusively on official sources for updates and to refrain from spreading rumors and false information.

This alert marks the first of its kind in the country since July 12, when the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority detected regional threats that ultimately remained outside UAE borders.
