Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced that the Egyptian Energy Journey session at Egypt Forum 2026 will highlight the remarkable growth of the nation's energy sector since 2014. The presentation will feature detailed figures, performance indicators, major projects, and investments in electricity, renewable energy, and future expansion strategies, alongside an overview of challenges and strategic solutions.
During a high-level coordination meeting, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly evaluated the core themes of the upcoming session alongside Electricity Minister Mahmoud Esmat, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, Petroleum Minister Karim Badawi, and other key officials. The preparations follow directives from President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for the event, which is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 24 at the St. Regis Hotel in the New Administrative Capital.
Highlighting the scope of the event, the Prime Minister noted that the session will also address milestones in the petroleum and mineral wealth sector achieved over the past decade. Discussions will cover advancements in exploration, production, significant discoveries, and resolutions regarding foreign partners' financial dues, with a strong emphasis on addressing public inquiries and outlining upcoming project pipelines.
