Israel Establishes First-Ever National Pavilion at Morocco Defense Exhibition

Israel's Ministry of Defence has announced its participation for the first time in a defense exhibition in Morocco, featuring its inaugural national pavilion at the Marrakech Air Show 2026.

"This marks Israel’s first official participation in the defense exhibition held in Morocco since the signing of the Abraham Accords," the Israeli Defence Ministry stated on Thursday. Eight Israeli defense companies showcased advanced technologies at the event in Marrakesh, which runs until Saturday.

The Marrakech Air Show, held from October 7 to October 10 at the Marrakech Royal Moroccan Air Force Base, takes place every two years to highlight civil and military aeronautics and space industries.

Major Israeli defense industries—including Elbit Systems, IAI, and Rafael—exhibited solutions across air, land, sea, space, intelligence, cyber, and digital domains.

This development highlights strengthening ties between Morocco and Israel following the establishment of relations in 2020 through the Abraham Accords. Recently, both countries agreed to upgrade diplomatic missions to embassies and expand air travel with direct flights.
