Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, Abdelaziz Qansouh, officially honored Haya Amr Fawzy, a third-year medical student at New Giza University. The recognition came in appreciation of her courageous efforts in assisting those injured during the dangerous fire at the Arabella Plaza Mall, located in New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement.

During the ceremony, Qansouh highlighted that honoring the student serves as a true tribute to her remarkable act of humanity. He noted that stepping up to help others during a crisis perfectly mirrors the deep-rooted humanitarian values embedded within Egyptian society, while demonstrating extraordinary bravery, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
