Dr Anwar Gargash has strongly condemned a series of recent reports and allegations directed at the UAE as the nation works to navigate the aftermath of the Iran war crisis.

Serving as the diplomatic adviser to the UAE President, Dr Gargash pointed out that specific media outlets with underlying agendas are actively "circulating false information about the country, at a time when the state continues to focus its efforts on addressing regional developments and preparing for the period ahead."

Reiterating the nation's official stance, he stated, "The UAE's approach is that the best response to such claims is through work and tangible achievements on the ground."

Addressing specific falsehoods, Dr Gargash dismissed reports claiming that the UAE had permitted financial facilities for Iran, as well as rumors regarding the cancellation of UAE residency for certain individuals, labeling them as completely untrue and part of coordinated media campaigns.

"Facts and tangible achievements remain stronger than rumours, and action remains stronger than noise," he emphasized.

Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the UAE had immediately suspended "all trade, commercial exchange and financial transactions with Iran" due to the ongoing security threats posed to the wider region.

This decisive action followed a wave of attacks targeting UAE-owned tankers alongside Tehran's persistent refusal to engage in diplomatic talks with the US.

Shortly before this official declaration, Iran launched two missiles toward the UAE on Tuesday night. While the first missile impacted Emirati territorial waters, the second landed outside its borders, marking the first security alerts issued in the region since mid-July.
