talabat Appoints Moaiad Aqel as Managing Director of Qatar to Drive Future Expansion

talabat has officially welcomed Moaiad Aqel as the new Managing Director of talabat Qatar, setting the stage for the company's upcoming chapter of growth. Aqel brings over 10 years of valuable experience within talabat, alongside extensive commercial and operational expertise acquired across several GCC countries.

Returning to Qatar, Aqel previously served as the Managing Director of talabat Bahrain beginning in July 2022, where he successfully guided the company's strategic direction, operations, and commercial growth. Before his tenure in Bahrain, he spent more than three years in Doha working as the Director of Sales for talabat Qatar, following his earlier position as Head of Account Management for talabat in Saudi Arabia.

In his new capacity, Aqel aims to steer talabat Qatar toward continued expansion by prioritizing stronger relationships with customers, partners, and riders. His focus will also include driving operational excellence and delivering enhanced everyday value across the entire platform.

"Qatar is a market I know well and one that has played an important role in my journey with talabat, so I am very excited to be returning in this new capacity," Aqel stated, expressing enthusiasm for collaborating with the local team to build upon established foundations.
