Residents across parts of the United Arab Emirates can anticipate rainfall in the coming days, according to the latest meteorological forecast from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The NCM has issued a wet weather alert for Al Ain, with rain expected from Tuesday through Thursday. Fujairah is also set to experience rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the mercury is expected to climb, with Sweihan forecast to reach a high of 42°C daily until Friday. Abu Dhabi will see temperatures peak at 39°C on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, while Dubai is predicted to experience a high of 38°C on the same days.

Adding to the varied weather, the NCM has also indicated a possibility of foggy conditions on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

The anticipated rainfall, particularly in the eastern regions like Al Ain, is attributed to a low-pressure system originating from the south-east. This system is drawing moisture-laden air from the Arabian Sea. As this air mass interacts with the mountains along the UAE's east coast, it rises and encounters cooler atmospheric layers, leading to the formation of convective clouds and subsequent rain.
