Dubai's parking operator, Parkin, has announced a 14 per cent increase in total revenue for the second quarter of 2026, reaching Dh364.1 million compared to the same period in 2025. This financial growth was achieved despite a decline in public parking transactions, which fell to 27.2 million from 29.2 million year-on-year.

According to a report issued by Parkin on Thursday evening, the reduction in transaction volumes was influenced by geopolitical factors, increased usage of seasonal cards under unrevised tariffs, and fewer chargeable days during the quarter.

Despite these challenges, the company expanded its total parking spaces by 27 per cent to 268,300. Public parking spaces specifically grew by 8 per cent to reach 203,200.

Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, chief executive of Parkin, stated that the strong second-quarter performance was driven by seasonal cards, developer parking, and enforcement segments. He noted that the company successfully expanded its parking portfolio by nearly 57,000 spaces over the past 12 months, including 9,900 new public spaces added in the first half of 2026 in cooperation with the RTA, while the developer parking portfolio more than tripled to 61,500 spaces.
