A French mayor was reportedly attacked by settlers while participating in the annual olive harvest in the occupied West Bank. The incident occurred during the harvest season, a period often marked by heightened tensions in the region.

The mayor's presence at the olive harvest was part of an effort to support Palestinian farmers and highlight the challenges they face. Details regarding the specific circumstances of the attack and the condition of the mayor have not yet been fully disclosed.

This event underscores the ongoing volatile situation in the occupied West Bank, where Israeli settlers and Palestinian communities frequently clash, particularly during agricultural seasons.
