Dubai’s Emirates Group has announced a robust half-year profit after tax of Dh3.6 billion ($980 million). This significant financial achievement was realized despite facing considerable disruptions, including the Iran war and escalating fuel costs.

For the six months concluding September, the Group reported a revenue of Dh66.2 billion, as detailed in a statement released on Thursday. The airline's fiscal year is scheduled to conclude in March.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, the chairman and chief executive of Emirates airline and group, commented on the performance via a post on X, stating, “The Emirates Group has reported a profit for the first six months of 2026-27 despite regional challenges and high fuel costs. Its half-year performance illustrates the resilience of the Group’s business model, and the capabilities of its people.”
