Mexico is expanding the global reach of Netflix's hit franchise with its own localized spin-off, titled Habilidad Fisica: 100 – Mexico. Set to premiere on September 16, this South Korean reality show adaptation brings together 100 elite competitors to test their strength, endurance, agility, and mental resilience.
The format follows the original South Korean series, which pits 100 participants from various sporting backgrounds—including Olympians, MMA champions, bodybuilders, and CrossFit athletes—against each other in gruelling physical challenges. Previous seasons of the franchise have included variations like Physical: Asia, and upcoming versions are slated for Italy, the US, and Sweden.
The upcoming Mexican adaptation features a diverse lineup of top-tier talent, including Mexican wrestlers Mistico, Atlantis Jr, and Soberano Jr, alongside Hyrox athletes Karen Lara, Alberto Castaneda, Mariona Caballero, and Aldo Marquez. Olympians such as swimmer Miguel de Lara, wrestlers Ambar Garnica and Brandon Diaz, sprinter Ceci Tamayo, and CrossFitters Luis Mora, Roldan Goldbaum, and Marian Meza will also compete. They are joined by strongman Uriel Gutierrez and gymnasts Alexa Moreno and Daniel Corral.
As the Netflix Latin America Instagram account teases, "Mexico’s best athletes take on the ultimate physical challenge. Who do you think will make it all the way to the end?" Catch the premiere of Physical 100: Mexico on Netflix on September 16.
