Salah’s Transition to the Turkish Süper Lig
Following a remarkable and trophy-filled nine-year spell at Premier League side Liverpool, Salah made a stunning move to Trabzonspor in August 2026 on a free transfer. This transfer stands as one of the most significant signings in the history of Turkish football, welcoming thousands of fans to Papara Park for his official presentation.

Salah started strong in domestic action by scoring a brace in Trabzonspor’s recent 2–1 win against İstanbul Başakşehir. Tonight's match marks a vital test early in his career with the club, as the team looks to utilize his vast European experience to secure qualification.
