UAE Ministry Denies Missile Strike Reports on Al Minhad Air Base Amid High Alert

The UAE firmly denied media reports on Monday claiming that Al Minhad Air Base had been targeted by missiles. The Ministry of Defence dismissed the claims as false, emphasizing that the nation remains in a "high state of readiness" to address any external threats.

Authorities urged the public to depend exclusively on official channels for updates and to avoid spreading unverified rumors. No emergency alerts were activated for residents nationwide.

Additionally, the ministry reported on Monday that a drone originating from Iran was successfully intercepted over territorial waters. "The Armed Forces are on alert and ready to deal with all threats," the official statement noted.

This interception occurs 19 days after a separate missile incident triggered emergency warnings across the UAE, prompting some residents to seek shelter. During that prior event, one missile fell into Emirati territorial waters, while a second landed outside national boundaries.
