The financial institution noted that it is currently monitoring the proposal put forward by the US Treasury Department concerning a regulatory rule that aims to apply a special measure regarding Banque Misr’s branches in the United Arab Emirates. To address this, the bank is actively coordinating and cooperating with both the Central Bank of the UAE and the Central Bank of Egypt.
