Palestinian-Algerian singer and rapper Saint Levant has postponed the North American leg of his Afandi World Tour until spring 2027 following unexpected US visa complications.

The artist, whose real name is Marwan Abdelhamid, shared on Instagram that additional background checks on his US visa application could take several months to complete. Originally scheduled for September, the tour will now kick off in Ottawa on March 19, 2027, followed by additional Canadian dates before heading to the US, beginning with Boston on March 27.

Although Saint Levant specifically cited US visa issues, the Canadian concerts were also rescheduled. International tours are typically organized as a single operation with shared logistical costs, making a continuous run more practical. Existing tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates, and refunds remain available upon request.

Saint Levant's visa difficulties occur amid heightened scrutiny and policy changes under President Donald Trump, which have impacted applicants from Middle Eastern countries. Known as an outspoken advocate for Palestine, Saint Levant has frequently addressed Palestinian identity, displacement, and the war in Gaza through his music, fashion ambassadorship with Prada, and global performances.
