Inter Milan have officially secured the signing of England international Djed Spence from Tottenham Hotspur on a long-term contract running until June 30, 2031, according to an announcement from the Serie A champions.

British media outlets reported that the Italian giants paid a transfer fee of approximately £30 million ($40.59m) for the 26-year-old wing-back.

In an official statement released on Saturday, the club stated, "The English wing-back, born in 2000, joins the Nerazzurri from Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent transfer; Spence has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2031."

After facing limited first-team opportunities that resulted in loan spells at Rennes, Leeds United, and Genoa, he eventually broke into the regular squad at Spurs.

On the international stage, the England international featured in Thomas Tuchel’s squad at the 2026 World Cup, where he made eight appearances, including a notable outing in England’s victory in the third-place playoff.

Following this permanent transfer to Inter, Spence will team up with fellow England defender John Stones, who recently joined the Italian side on a two-year contract after departing Manchester City.
