The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha has officially launched "Thai Restaurant Week 2026: A Taste of Thailand," offering specially curated menus across 12 participating restaurants in Qatar from September 3 to September 19.
Diners across the country can sample specially priced menus at QAR 39, QAR 59, and QAR 89 for lunch, dinner, or all-day dining. The campaign highlights the diversity of Thai culinary traditions, techniques, and cultural heritage.
The launch event took place at Saffron at Banyan Tree Doha, drawing over 100 attendees, including Qatari government representatives, members of the diplomatic corps, private-sector executives, media members, and influencers. Guests enjoyed cultural performances, live cooking, fruit-carving demonstrations, and food tastings.
Thailand’s Ambassador-Designate to Qatar, Pensom Lertsithichai, emphasized the role of food in strengthening bilateral ties, stating that culinary traditions foster deep mutual understanding.
Participating venues include Bubblelicious Café, CHX N RISE, Isaan at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas, Khaosan Thai Restaurant, Pochana Thai Restaurant, Sabai Thai Restaurant, Saffron at Banyan Tree Doha Hotel, Sritubtim, Thai Aroi, Thai Kitchen at Centara West Bay Hotel & Residences, Thai Snack, and The Siam.
Additionally, diners sharing their experiences on Facebook and Instagram using #ThaiWeekQatar2026 can enter a raffle to win dining vouchers, pool access at Banyan Tree Doha Hotel, and hotel stays in Thailand including properties like Siam Kempinski Bangkok, JW Marriott Bangkok, Banyan Tree Bangkok, The Landmark Bangkok, Park Hyatt Bangkok, and Sindhorn Midtown Bangkok, alongside experiences at Andamanda Phuket, Siam Niramit Phuket, and Dream World.
