Egypt Strongly Condemns Missile and Drone Attacks on Saudi Cities, Reaffirms Full Solidarity with Kingdom

Egypt on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, strongly condemned the recent missile and drone attacks targeting the Saudi cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran. These hostile acts resulted in injuries to dozens of civilians, including women and children.

In an official statement, the foreign ministry expressed Egypt’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia. The ministry affirmed its steadfast support for the Kingdom in confronting any threats directed at its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

Furthermore, Egypt reiterated its categorical rejection of all assaults against civilians and civilian facilities. The statement emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia remains an integral part of both Egypt's national security and the broader security of the Arab world.
