Israeli forces shot and killed a 29-year-old man in the town of Aqraba, located south of Nablus, and subsequently withheld his body, according to reports from Palestine’s Wafa news agency.

Abdul Karim Muhammad Salem Khader lost his life on Tuesday after Israeli forces besieged his home and struck the building with an Energa antitank rifle grenade. Security sources reported that the military used a bulldozer to demolish parts of the residence following the raid in Aqraba. An Israeli army spokesperson stated that troops killed an armed individual who allegedly attempted to attack soldiers.

Simultaneously, the Israeli army initiated widespread raids across the occupied West Bank early Tuesday. Operations targeted the town of Anata, the Shu’fat refugee camp in occupied East Jerusalem, and Dura near Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank. Wafa reported that at least 10 individuals were arrested in Dura and Hebron, including Fayez al-Jabari, his son, and former prisoners Ayoub al-Awawda and Montaser Shadid.

In southern Hebron, an Al Jazeera correspondent noted that Israeli forces began demolishing homes in the village of Khallit al-Dabe within Masafer Yatta. Furthermore, all entrances to Shu’fat and Anata were closed off, restricting residents from entering or leaving.

Jerusalem’s governor, Adnan Ghaith, stated that the Anata operations reflect ongoing efforts to enforce a siege on northeast Jerusalem, noting that military forces blocked ambulances from reaching the injured and bulldozed main water lines, disrupting vital access for residents. Additional reports from an Al Jazeera correspondent indicated that the raids in Shu’fat mirror the extensive and violent operations recently conducted by Israeli forces in Qalqilya.
