EgyptAir Halts Flights from Cairo and Alexandria to Riyadh Amid Airport Suspension

EgyptAir has announced the temporary suspension of all flights originating from Cairo and Alexandria airports and heading to Riyadh until normal operations resume. This decision was made in coordination with Saudi civil aviation authorities following the temporary suspension of operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh amid the ongoing situation.

In an official statement, the airline confirmed that passengers holding confirmed tickets for the impacted flights who wish to alter their travel plans to another direct destination within Saudi Arabia via EgyptAir can do so without incurring any change fees or fare differences. Additionally, travelers who prefer to cancel their tickets for the affected flights are eligible for full refunds without any cancellation fees, following standard operating procedures.

EgyptAir stated that its Integrated Operations Center is closely monitoring developments on a 24/7 basis and promised to provide further updates as they become available. The carrier strongly advised all affected passengers to verify their booking details by reaching out through its designated customer service channels.
