Israeli Military Confirms Death of Senior Hezbollah Commander Following Deadly Strikes in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced on Sunday that it successfully eliminated a senior Hezbollah commander, following a wave of deadly strikes across southern Lebanon.

According to the Israeli military, Abu Hassan Alaa 'took part in advancing numerous terror attacks against IDF soldiers… including the launch of explosive drones toward IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon.'

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that Saturday's Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of at least 11 people, which included women and children.

Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister’s office accused Hezbollah of violating the ongoing ceasefire after three Israeli soldiers sustained serious injuries in a Hezbollah attack in southern Lebanon.

In direct response to the incident, the Israeli military confirmed targeting a headquarters belonging to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of a battalion commander and several others.
