The Egyptian Travel Agents Associations (ETA) in Hurghada announced that Hurghada Airport welcomed approximately three million visitors from January through August 2026, marking a three percent rise compared to the same timeframe last year.
Representing around 50 different nationalities, this diverse influx highlights the broad foundation of the city's tourism markets, providing the sector with enhanced resilience against potential shifts in any single region. Germany remains the primary source market with about 825,800 travelers, followed by Russia with roughly 638,800 visitors, Poland with approximately 303,000, the UK with around 245,700, and the Czech market at roughly 127,000 tourists.
