Prime Video is keeping fans engaged with a brand-new series as Reacher wraps up its latest run. On September 16, coinciding with the season four finale, popular supporting character Frances Neagley steps into the spotlight in her own eight-episode spin-off titled Neagley.
Starring Maria Sten as the private investigator and former US Army master sergeant, the series follows one of Jack Reacher's closest allies as she navigates a dangerous conspiracy. Unlike the nomadic drifter Jack Reacher, Neagley has established a life and career in Chicago, utilizing technology, contacts, and investigative tools that her former commanding officer often avoids.
Developed by Reacher showrunner Nick Santora alongside Nicholas Wootton, with Lee Child serving as an executive producer, the series features a supporting cast that includes Alan Ritchson reprising his role as Jack Reacher, alongside Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman.
The story begins with a suspicious accident resulting in the death of a trusted friend from Neagley's past. While the character originated in Lee Child's novels—such as Without Fail, Bad Luck and Trouble, and The Affair—the spin-off introduces an original story rather than directly adapting a single book. All eight episodes will drop simultaneously on Prime Video on September 16.
